What is My Super Check?

A free, personalised check of your superannuation. We compare your fund's actual performance against every MySuper product in Australia using public APRA data, then show you exactly what it's costing you — or confirm you're in good shape.

How does it work?

You text us on iMessage. We ask a few questions — your fund name, rough balance, age, and when you want to retire. Takes about 10 minutes. Then we generate your personalised Super Gap Report and send it back to you.

What does the report show?

Your report compares your fund's net returns, fees, and investment strategy against the best-performing funds in Australia. It calculates the dollar gap — what staying in your current fund is actually costing you over time. If there are concrete things you can do (salary sacrifice, fund switch, fee reduction), we show you the numbers.

Is it really free?

Yes. You'll never be charged for the check or the report. If your report shows you'd benefit from professional financial advice, we can introduce you to a licensed advisor. If they take you on, they pay us a referral fee. That's it. No hidden costs, no upsell.

Where does the data come from?

All fund performance data comes from APRA — the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. It's the same data the government uses to regulate super funds. We use the Quarterly MySuper Product Statistics (QSPS) dataset, which covers every MySuper product in Australia.

Is this financial advice?

No. My Super Check provides general information and factual comparisons based on publicly available APRA data. We don't hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and we don't provide personal financial advice. If your situation needs professional advice, we'll tell you — and we can connect you with someone who's licensed to help.

What happens to my information?

We collect only what's needed to generate your report — fund name, approximate balance, age, and retirement goals. We don't ask for account numbers, logins, or anything that could access your super. Your information is stored securely and never sold to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What if my super is already good?

We'll tell you. Not everyone needs to switch funds. If your fund is top-performing and your strategy is solid, your report will confirm that — and might highlight small optimisations like salary sacrifice that could still add tens of thousands by retirement.

Do I have to speak to an advisor?

No. The referral is completely optional. You get your report regardless. If you want to talk to someone, we'll connect you. If not, no pressure — the report is yours to keep.
