Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 March 2026

1. About this service

My Super Check ("we", "us", "our") provides a free superannuation comparison service. We generate personalised Super Gap Reports using publicly available data from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).

2. Not financial advice

My Super Check does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). Nothing we provide constitutes personal financial advice, a financial product recommendation, or a statement of opinion intended to influence your financial decisions.

Our reports present general information and factual comparisons based on public data. They are intended for educational purposes only. Before making any decisions about your superannuation, you should consider seeking advice from a licensed financial advisor who understands your personal circumstances.

3. Data sources and accuracy

Fund performance data is sourced from APRA's Quarterly MySuper Product Statistics (QSPS). While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, we make no guarantee that:

Superannuation returns are subject to market conditions, fund management decisions, and regulatory changes that are beyond anyone's control.

4. How we make money

My Super Check is free for consumers. If you choose to be connected with a financial advisor through our service, and that advisor accepts you as a client, we may receive a referral fee from the advisor. This referral is always optional and clearly disclosed.

5. Your information

By using our service, you agree to provide accurate information about your superannuation situation. We collect only what's needed to generate your report. We don't ask for fund login credentials, member numbers, or any information that could be used to access your accounts. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Communications

Our service operates via iMessage. By texting us, you consent to receiving messages related to your super check, your report, and occasional follow-ups. You can stop at any time by telling us or simply not replying.

7. No guarantees

We provide this service "as is." We don't guarantee any particular financial outcome from using our service or acting on information in your report. The decision to switch funds, change investment options, or make additional contributions is yours alone.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, My Super Check and its operators will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to decisions made based on your Super Gap Report.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
